McLaren P1 is revealed today, this is the car that will be competing with Bugatti Veyron. Today, many journalists wrote many things about McLaren P1, for that reason I don’t want to repeat the same words.
In my opinion, P1 looks amazing! P1 is one of the best-looking cars on market today and P1 is going to be an icon. McLaren P1 does share some design bits from MP4-12C but that is not a surprise. However, this similar design bits do not ruin the harmony of the P1. Actually, McLaren P1 looks like a stealth plane and UFO. That's the first that came to my mind, when I saw the McLaren P1.
Moreover, the rear-end of the McLaren P1 looks better than its front-end. Especially the extremely thin brake lights definitely look fabulous at night.
I guess Frank Stephenson wanted to increase the power of the P1 by using the exhaust as propulsion system. When you look at the exhaust of the McLaren P1, you expect to see flames coming out.
McLaren P1 is going to have 963 PS of power by using 3.8-lt V8 engine and Kinetic Energy Recovery System (KERS), zero to 100 kph will be 2.8 seconds and top speed of 384 kph (239 mph).
